Two minor girls kidnapped and raped in Mumbai

The girls, aged 16 and 14 were kidnapped from their residence and taken to a complex in Powai.

Two minor sisters were kidnapped from their residence and then raped at Raheja Complex, Powai in eastern suburbs on Tuesday last. One person was arrested in this connection.

The complainant, mother of the girls said in her statement that on September 12, her daughters aged 16 years and 14 years were kidnapped by the accused Pravin Narayan Shetty (24) from their residence at Sakinaka in western suburbs, the police said in Mumbai on Saturday.

The accused had taken the duo minors to Raheja Complex at Powai and raped them.

Powai police said the accused was later arrested and case registered against him.
