Justice Yog was the chief guest at a programme organised by the Young Lawyers Association at the Library Hall of HCBA to felicitate two new judges of High Court, Justice Ran Vijay Singh and Justice Pankaj Mithal.
Pointing out at the portraits of prominent lawyers put up in the Library Hall, Justice Yog said young lawyers should take inspiration from them. He also advised senior lawyers to guide the young generation as the former had wide experience.
Addressing the programme, Justice VM Sahai, who presided over the programme, said one should take inspiration from these two new judges as they got success due to sheer hard work.
Addressing the programme, Advocate-General SMA Kazmi said Justice Ran Vijay Singh had set the example that one could achieve constitutional post through hard work and without high-profile background. Kazmi said humbleness was a great virtue which these two judges amply possessed. He said they would become role models for the young lawyers.
On this occasion, Justice Pankaj Mithal said, “Pray each day as hard work is equal to prayer”.
Secretary of the Allahabad High Court Bar Association Rakesh Pandey introduced the new judges to the audience and president of Young Lawyers Association Santosh Tripathi welcomed the guests. Secretary of Young Lawyers Association JB Singh conducted the programme.
Apart from several sitting judges, prominent among those who participated in the function, included president of Advocates’ Association Satish Trivedi, senior advocate Viresh Mishra, Rajiv Gupta, Manoj Nigam, Vinod Shankar Giir, Anil Kumar Mishra, Prashant Rai and others.
