Tyagi's 5/27, his best in 22 first class matches, tore apart Himachal’s strong batting line-up for just 84, allowing UP to take 113 runs lead, at the quick strip of the Green Park Stadium as the rain-hit tie ended in a tame draw.

UP gained three points from the match and took their position to 14, where as Himachal managed just one point to remain satisfied with five points in three matches so far.
