One of the suspects in the alleged airline terror plot had his custody extended by a week, his lawyer said on Wednesday.

Muhammed Usman Saddique, 24, has been in custody since August 10 without being charged.

His lawyer, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the ruling had not yet been announced, said a court had ruled that Saddique be held for another seven days.
