ULFA blasts oil pipeline in Dibrugarh

There was no casualty in the blast and the pipeline was being repaired.

The banned ULFA exploded an oil pipeline in Assam's Dibrugarh district, resulting in fire and extensive damage to it, official sources said on Friday.

The pipeline was badly damaged due to the blast and it caught fire with oil spilling, sources said.

The fire was brought under control after several hours. There was no casualty in the blast and the pipeline was being repaired, sources added.
