UP Govt transfers 24 senior IAS officers

The government has also transferrs principal secretaries of the Labour and Religious Works departments.

In a major reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred 24 senior IAS officers including 7 district magistrates and 2 principal secretries on Thursday night.

District magistrates of Lakhimpur-Kheri, Pilibhit, Hardoi, Bhadohi, Ferozabad, Aouriya and Ballia have been shifted, an official statement said in Lucknow.

The government has also transferred principal secretaries of the Labour and Religious Works departments, it said.

Secretraies of several other departments including Medical Health (Unani and Homoeopath) Social Welfare.
