Two days after the deadly stampede that killed 36 devotees at Allahabad railway station, state governor BL Joshi and chief minister Akhilesh Yadav visited injured pilgrims at a city hospital on Tuesday.

Two days after the deadly stampede that killed 36 devotees at Allahabad railway station, state governor BL Joshi and chief minister Akhilesh Yadav visited injured pilgrims at a city hospital on Tuesday.

Talking to the reporters, Joshi said: "When crores of people gather at a place then mistakes happen."

CM while announcing relief of Rs. 7 lakh for each of the deceased person's family, refrained from putting the blame on any one saying, it was not advisable to make any comment before the inquiry committee present its report.
