"The FIR has been registered by Additional Director, Health and Family Welfare, S A Rizvi at Mohanlalgaj police station against unnamed persons," a senior official told PTI.
The FIR was lodged at the Mohanlanganj police station.
Four children of Mannawa, Rampur and Khera villages died shortly after they were administered measles, BCG and Hepatitis B vaccines by government doctors yesterday during an immunisation drive in the area.
Five health department employees including a doctor, an employee responsible for maintaining cold chain and three auxiliary midwife and nurse were placed under suspension after being found prima facie guilty.
A magisterial inquiry into the incident is also going on while a team from Centre also visited the area to take stock of the situation.
