Vehicle in Nitish cavalcade stoned, doctor among 2 injured

In a breach of Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar's security, an unidentified youth hurled a stone at an ambulance in his cavalcade injuring two persons in Bihar's Nalanda district this evening, official sources said.

In a breach of Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar's security, an unidentified youth hurled a stone at an ambulance in his cavalcade injuring two persons in Bihar's Nalanda district this evening, official sources said.

The youth flung a stone at the ambulance damaging its front windshield. Doctor Ram Kumar and driver Dablu suffered minor injuries, they said.

The youth, however, managed to escape from the spot that is located near the Nausa Purana police station.

The chief minister's cavalcade proceeded on its onward journey to the district collectorate in Nalanda district for a day-long visit on 'Seva Yatra'.

The ambulance was the eighth vehicle in the motorcade.
