Vietnam bus collision kills 12 aid workers

The 12 who left Ho Chi Minh city were killed in the collision with a bus in Khanh Hoa province, a newspaper reported.

A van collided with a bus in central Vietnam on Friday, killing at least 11 aid workers and their driver, on their way to help victims of a typhoon that hit Vietnam's coastal provinces earlier this month, state media said.

Officials said the 12 people in the minivan, who left from Ho Chi Minh city, were killed in the collision with a bus in Khanh Hoa province, the Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper reported.
