Vishnukant Shastri remembered
KARNATAKA GOVERNOR TN Chaturvedi recalled the contributions made by the late Vishnukant Shastri as a teacher, litterateur, Parliamentarian and as Governor. He said he (Shastri) had excelled in all the fields and was a very good person. Chaturvedi was speaking after being bestowed with ?Acharya Vishnukant Shastri Vishistha Hindi Seva Samman? at a felicitation function organised by Etawah Hindi Seva Nidhi, a literary group, here on Saturday.

He said he (Shastri) had excelled in all the fields and was a very good person. Chaturvedi was speaking after being bestowed with ‘Acharya Vishnukant Shastri Vishistha Hindi Seva Samman’ at a felicitation function organised by Etawah Hindi Seva Nidhi, a literary group, here on Saturday.
Chaturvedi said Shastri was easily accessible and always ready to help and guide those who wanted any assistance from him.
Earlier, Dr Narendra Kohli delivered a lecture on the topic ‘Mahabharat ke Krishna Evam Samkalin Drishti’ on the occasion.
Dr Prem Shankar Tripathi, Bekal Utsahi and Satya Prakash Mishra, HoD, Hindi Department, AU also addressed the function.
Noted litterateur Kailash Gautam conducted the programme.
The programme started with Saraswati Vandana by Ragini Chaturvedi. Pradip Kumar, advocate and general secretary of Etawah Hindi Sewa Nidhi, addressed the gathering and briefed about the activities of the group.
