What will Liz Hurley wear on wedding day?

Rumour has it that Versace will be making the wedding lehenga of the much-awaited Indian bahu. Kabeer Sharma tells more.

Even as desi designers are falling over each other trying to dress-up Liz Hurley for her wedding, rumour has it that Versace will be making her wedding lehenga.

However, the country’s much-awaited (and long overdue) bahu was seen shopping at Ensemble, Lion’s Gate. Hurley was seen draping saris assisted by Arun Nayar’s mum, Gurnar.

A pink sari with kundan embroidery caught her attention and after much contemplation, she finally bought it.

Another sari designed by Anamika Khanna also seemed to interest the actress and she was heard promising the staff that she would be back soon with her fiancé, Arun Nayar.

However, the sixty-four thousand dollar question — was Liz shopping for her wedding trousseau? Maybe… maybe not.

Probably the sari was meant for the cocktail party that her beau’s dad, Vinod Nayar, plans to throw at his Marine Lines residence in Mumbai.

When contacted, Tina Tahiliani of Ensemble refused to confirm or deny the reports. She said, “We respect the privacy of our clients and what they buy from us is their personal matter.” Well, let’s wait till her wedding to watch it ourselves.
