When a crocodile went strolling on a Goa beach!

Pictures of a crocodile on a Goa beach have gone viral on social media. The reptile was spotted by a local on Thursday who took the pictures and posted them on a social networking website.

The reptile was spotted on the Morjim beach of Goa on Thursday by a local Nilesh Bagkar on Thursday who posted the image on Facebook and the sighting was confirmed by officials.

The image of the crocodile walking on the one of the most popular beaches of the state was captured by local Nilesh Bagkar on Thursday who posted the image on a social networking website.

Deputy conservator of forest DNF Carvalo confirmed that the crocodile was seen on the beach.

"The aquatic reptile must have arrived from nearby Chapora river and not the Arabian Sea. It must have walked to the beach from Chapora river," he said.
