Wife vows to carry on slain officer’s work

Madhurani Tewatia, the wife of IPS officer Narendra Kumar who was killed by the mining mafia in MP’s Morena district on Holi day, has vowed to complete her husband’s unfinished work. Umesh Singh reports.

Madhurani Tewatia, the wife of IPS officer Narendra Kumar who was killed by the mining mafia in MP’s Morena district on Holi day, has vowed to complete her husband’s unfinished work.

The 30-year-old, who is expecting her first child, said she was confident of finishing the task for which her husband was murdered. “I will ensure it reaches a conclusive end,” Tewatia, a 2008-batch IAS officer, said.
