Wipro projects $633 million IT revenue for Q3

The company said the higher guidance was based on the robust growth its IT business achieved.

Wipro Ltd has projected revenue guidance of $633 million (Rs 29.12 billion) from its global IT services and products for the third quarter (Oct-Dec) of the current fiscal 2006-07.

In a notification to the stock exchanges in Bangalore on Wednesday, the company said the higher guidance was based on the robust growth its IT business achieved in the second quarter (July-Sep) of this fiscal, which was $591 million ahead of its projected figure of $577 million.
