Woman commits suicide from Gilbert hill

A 25 year old woman committed suicide on Friday morning by jumping off the Gilbert hill located in Andheri west, reports Krati Khujneri.

Tejaswati Kamble, a sales girl by profession was a resident of Naal area near Gilbert Hill and regularly visited the Shiv Temple situated on the hill top.

According to the eye witness and police, Kamle went to the Temple at 7.00 am on Friday.

Till 10.00 am she performed a pooja there and within minutes she jumped off the cliff, which is at a height of 300 feets.

Kamble, dressed in blue jeans and top was working as a teacher at Balwadi (nursery) two years ago and had recently opted out of it to become a sales girl at a book store.

According to PI crime of DN Nagar, Pradeep Suryavanshi, the girl had left a suicide note which says that she had an affair with some person (name not disclosed) but it also stated that she did not blame anyone for her suicide decision.

"The investigation is still going on. On ground level crime investigation there is no reason for her committing suicide".

We have recorded the statements of the girl's father, who is a retired government employee and her mother and they too don't have any clue for there daughters action," said Suryavanshi.
