Witty, chatty, intense—it is not possible to pin down Farhan Akhtar to just one category. While the world is still busy analysing his last film,


the three-film-old GenNext filmmaker has already moved on to other projects. And they are not necessarily about calling the shots from behind the camera.

Donning a new role:

Farhan shares the passion of exploring the world with his wife Adhuna. And they are trying to inculcate the same in their daughter Shakiya.

“I want to make Shakiya, who is now six, a global citizen. She has been travelling with us since the age of three. I expect this to continue for at least another 10 years before she decides not to travel with her parents anymore.”
