Zaheer Khan to undergo fitness test

Zaheer's further participation will be decided on July 22 when he undergoes a fitness test. He was injured in the match against Sri Lanka.

Zaheer Khan's further participation in the Asia Cup One-Day cricket tournament will be decided tomorrow after the Baroda paceman undergoes a fitness test.

Zaheer, who broke down midway through the series in Australia and Pakistan last season, injured his quadriceps muscle in the group match against Sri Lanka on Sunday.

It is learnt that Ajit Agarkar would be asked to replace Zaheer if he fails the fitness test.

Agarkar is currently playing for English county club Middlesex on a month-long contract.
