Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner won the toss and opted to bowl first in his side’s IPL 2016 opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy stadium on Tuesday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner won the toss and opted to bowl first in his side’s IPL 2016 opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy stadium on Tuesday.

Warner explained his decision, saying the Bengaluru wicket looked like a good one to bat on and he would like to chase. The inclusion of Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman added some depth to their bowling, he added.

Warner’s RCB counterpart Virat Kohli said he would have liked to bowl first as well.
