To treat her heart issues, Nancee Babson often visits Massachusetts General Hospital. Being a regular patient, she has forged a cordial relationship with the nursing staff. That’s why she was surprised when a nurse, who came to check her vitals, behaved rudely. Unknown to her, she was not a nurse but her best friend Kimberly Thurlow in disguise waiting to surprise her.
In a video going viral, a masked nurse walks inside Nancee’s room and starts checking her pulse without saying anything. She even ignores her. A visibly surprised Nancee keeps looking at the nurse until the former removes her mask. Though initially stunned, she soon gets emotional and hugs her best friend.
This surprise meeting was orchestrated by Nancee’s son Holden Babson to cheer up his mother. He recorded the entire incident and shared it on his Facebook profile on May 11.
The video has struck a chord with netizens. A few Facebook users even admitted that it made them teary-eyed.
