Former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat passed away today, two days after he was admitted to a hospital in Jaipur complaining of uneasiness and breathing problems.
Former vice president and senior BJP leader Bhairon Singh Shekhawat died at a hospital in Jaipur on Saturday. He was 86. Shekhawat, three-time Rajasthan chief minister, was admitted to the Sawai Man Singh Hospital on Thursday after he complained of breathing problems. He is survived by his wife Suraj Kanwar and a daughter.

87-year-old Shekhawat breathed his last at 11.10 AM at the Swai Man Singh Hospital, Dr Narpat Singh, Superintendent of the hospital, said.
Shekhawat's condition deteriorated this morning and he was put on ventilator, another doctor at the hospital, Ashok Pangaria said.
The former Vice President was admitted to the ICU of the SMS hospital on the night of May 13. Doctors had said he was suffering from lung and chest infection.
