Gehlot approves working plan till March 31

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the working plan till March 31, under which special emphasis has been given to the works which would uplift standards of SC, ST, OBC, minorities, youth and women.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the working plan till March 31, under which special emphasis has been given to the works which would uplift standards of SC, ST, OBC, minorities, youth and women.

Establishment of Farmer Commission, Waste Land Development Board, Senior Citizen Board, ten hostels for working women, providing cooperative loans worth Rs 250 to farmers through Gram Sevak committees, plan to complete five small irrigation projects and to ensure electricity supply to farmers in seven hours block for Rabi crop are the major highlights of the plan.

Project of purchasing modern arms and weapons for the Rajasthan Police, opening of five women police stations, creating a new website for right to information act have also been incorporated in the working plan to be completed till March 31.

The state government has constituted a high level committee comprising five ministers including Education Minister Master Bhanwar Lal Meghwal, Agriculture Minister Harji Ram Burdak, Transport Minister Brij Kishore Sharma, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Bharat Singh and Minister for tribal welfare Mahendra Jeet Singh Malvia to work out the draft of the working plan.
