Union Home Secretary GK Pillai will hold an emergency meeting on internal security with DGPs of six Maoist-hit states in Delhi tomorrow, officials said in Kolkata on Friday.

West Bengal DGP Bhupinder Singh on Friday left for the national capital Delhi to participate in the meeting to discuss Maoist threat and draw up strategy on restoring peace in areas affected by the Left Wing Extremists, they said.

The DGPs of Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh would also attend the meeting.
