Three girls and a boy drowned in the Bhagirathi river while taking bath at Patuli ghat under Purbashthali in Burdwan on Sunday afternoon.

Three girls and a boy drowned in the Bhagirathi river while taking bath at Patuli ghat under Purbashthali in Burdwan on Sunday afternoon.
Local police rushed to the spot with a rescue team. Rescue operations were on at Patuli Ghat, Nibuji Ghat and Kalna Khya Ghat.
The IC of Purbashthali police station has also been requested to arrange a rescue boat at Nabadwip Ghat. The names of victims are Puspita Dey (15) of Narayanpur, Patuli, Kuntal Saha (11) of Narayanpur Patuli, Radha Karmakar (10) of Prachin Mayapur Nabadwip and Sathi Das (14) of Pranchin Mayapur Nabadwip.
