‘Trinamool will retain railways’

Railway minister Mamata Banerjee said on Friday that the ministry would continue to remain with her party in the event of her becoming chief minister.

Railway minister Mamata Banerjee said on Friday that the ministry would continue to remain with her party in the event of her becoming chief minister.

“The railway ministry will remain with our party after the elections. All projects and plans that were announced will be completed on time,” she said. There was speculation in Delhi that the ministry could go to some other UPA ally.
