Did you see those clips of Andrew Garfield full-on flirting with Amelia Dimoldenberg on her YouTube show, Chicken Shop Date? Oh, we saw sparks. We saw a bit of fire. Seems like their almost-but-not-quite relationship has been on since 2022. They’ve, ahem, held hands too. Fans are asking for the BTS bloopers of the episode. We just want the tea.

Ekdum impressed
So, there’s going to be a Mirzapur movie. It’s more than just a cool idea. When was the last time that an Indian show made it from the small screen to the big one? We can only think of Khichdi. Let’s hope they don’t totally ruin the plot and make us regret our praise. No pressure, guys.

Legit pleased
Guess who crashed a Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest in New York last week? Chalamet himself. Thousands of doppelgangers, there more for the fun than the $50 prize, had shown up in Willy Wonka and other costumes. They realised that one guy, in a mask and baseball hat, had bodyguards with him, and was the real thing. Did he win? Not even!

Team Sonali Bendre
Bollywood has been subtly shunning her like she’s broken out in boils or something. In January, at a photo op at Ira Khan’s wedding, Jaya Bachchan walked away when Bendre joined her and Shweta Bachchan Nanda for the cameras. At Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s Diwali party, Orry pulled the same move. She’s been a sport about it. But why the hate for her, of all people?

Taking it off
Why are fans calling Bridgerton actor Nicola Coughlan “brave” for appearing topless on the show? Because she is plus-sized? Ugh! “Don’t call me brave,” the Irish actor said in an interview. “I have a cracking pair of boobs. There’s nothing brave about that, that’s actually just me showing them off.” This is exactly the clapback that patronising types deserve.

Learning the chorus
Vera Farmiga made her music debut as the frontwoman of alt-rock band The Yagas. Their single, The Crying Room, shows off her strong vocals, with husband Renn Hawkey on the synthesiser. Maya Rudolph has been touring with her band, The Rentals, since the 1990s. Cheers to women pivoting in their 50s. These are the girl-power goals we need.

Pumped up
Indie metal band Bloodywood’s new video, Nu Delhi, heralds the coming of their second album. It’s an ode to Delhi, “where we grew up dreaming of doing exactly what we are now,” the band posted on social media. The video is already going places – there are Likes from Skrillex, a Fire emoji from Metallica. Give us the rest already!

Microdosing in style
The Poetry Pharmacy in London has been prescribing poetry pills – scraps of poems in little vials – for heartache, stress, and inspiration. There are pills for self-awareness too. The best part? The staff does the diagnosing and picks out the poem that they think might work. Poetry has the best side-effects – it gets us to think. Plus, no hospital bills!
