Andrew Garfield was born in Los Angeles, California. He is known for playing Spider-Man in the superhero films, The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012. He was trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and began his career in television productions. He made his debut with the feature film, Lions for Lambs. He made a mark on the Hollywood industry with films like Hacksaw Ridge, Tick, Tick... Boom! And Under the Banner of Heaven. He became the brand ambassador of Sport for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation in 2011. His career includes a Golden Globe win for a role in The Social Network.
