Lok Sabha elections 2019: Ajay Yadav, Inderjit Singh hit campaign trail in Gurugram

While Captain (retd) Ajay Yadav of the Congress went to villages in Badshahpur assembly constituency, the sitting BJP member of Parliament(MP) Rao Inderjit Singh toured the villages of his stronghold of Pataudi.

Election campaigning in Gurugram was kicked off by both the candidates of the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Part(BJP), who hit the campaign trail to reach out to the masses.

Interacting with the villagers, Yadav said that the time has come to defeat the communal and divisive forces. “The BJP has failed to create jobs; it has destroyed the economy through demonetisation and the hasty implementation of Goods and Services Tax(GST),” he said. (HT PHOTO)

On Saturday, Yadav went to over two dozen villages in Badshahpur and also opened an election office in Farrukhnagar, said Congress leaders. Yadav was accompanied by senior Congress leaders, former minister Rao Dharampal, Pradeep Zaildar, Begraj Yadav during his visit to the villages of Mubarikpur, Sadhrana, Kaliawas, Iqbalpur, Dhankote, Garhi, Chandu, Budhera, Makdola, Dhanwapur, Basai and Khedki Majra, among others.
