Elaborate security arrangements have been made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Muzaffarpur on Tuesday.
The PM will address a rally at Patahi airstrip to garner support for support for NDA nominees from Muzaffarpur and Vaishali Lok Sabha constituencies, Ajay Nishad of the BJP and Veena Devi of the LJP, respectively.
Chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi will also attend the rally.
This will be the sixth rally in Bihar to be addressed by the prime minister since this Lok Sabha poll campaign began. In his five election meetings held so far, two were in favour of JD(U) candidates, one for LJP and two for BJP.

State’s urban development minister Suresh Sharma said all necessary preparations were in full swing to make the rally a success.
Senior SP Manoj Kumar said 44 check posts have been set up and tight security vigil was being maintained.
Nearly 90 sector magistrates led by district police have been deployed in the town areas. Routes of buses plying along Muzaffarpur-patna, Muzaffarpur-chapra and Muzaffarpursamastipur have been diverted since Monday afternoon.
