Chargesheet on Maya over wrong parking

UP Chief Minister Mayawati is in trouble over parking her car in a no-parking zone a week ago. Despite getting a notice to show the papers of her car (UP 32-BH-8886) and offer an explanation for violating the rules of the Motor Vehicles Act within seven days, she failed to respond.

A chargesheet was filed against her on Sunday in the court of Special Chief Judicial Magistrate (Customs) Suresh Chandra. The magistrate has issued her a summons to appear before the court on October 21.

The chargesheet mentions that the offender is ‘Miss Mayawati c/o Bahujan Samaj Party Hazratganj, Lucknow’.
