A woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband for undergoing abortion in Bazarkhala area here in the city, police said on Saturday.
38-year-old Anita was killed on Friday by her husband Jagdish, who was angry with her for undergoing abortion despite his refusal, police said, adding Jagdish had been arrested.
The couple already have four children, they added.
