In an effort to raise awareness of the plight of amphibians, the Regional Science City organised ‘Save The Frogs Day’ on Saturday.
Children were given an opportunity to participate in poster making competition on the theme ‘design and paint a pond for your frog’, which followed events like frog leap and quiz besides prize distribution.
It was the fifth year of this annual event and besides being observed in India, there were several events held simultaneously in countries like Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ghana, Israel, Madagascar, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Spain and the USA too.
