The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police on Saturday arrested Waryam Singh, ex-chairman of PMC Bank, in the ₹4,355 crore fraud case. Singh, through a letter to DCP EOW first informed the police about his decision to surrender. Later, in the evening, he surrendered himself before the EOW officials. Singh will be produced in court on Monday. This is the 4th arrest in PMC Bank fraud case. Earlier HDIL’s Rakesh Wadhwan, Sarang Wadhwan and PMC Bank’s ex-MD Joy Thomas were arrested.
