The Vile Parle police said they received a phone call from the police control room informing them about an online complaint received by their Twitter team. Within two hours of Ragahvan posting the tweet, the police sought a written complaint from his wife and registered a case of molestation.
“We have dispatched a police team to the spot to question the locals. We are checking the CCTV camera footage in and around the vicinity. We will find the accused as soon as possible,” said an officer attached to Vile Parle police station.
The actor tweeted once more, saying the alleged pervert may have also targeted girls studying at a nearby school.
