The Delhi police had arrested Ansari on May 19, a week before the ATS filed the charge sheet against four accused.

ATS sources said the supplementary charge sheet runs into around 250 pages. The agency has also filed additional documents related to the case.

The ATS has alleged that Ansari was involved in criminal conspiracy, aiding and abetting the blasts and providing logistical support.

The ATS claimed that Ansari, a resident of Darbhanga, Bihar, runs a cycle repair shop there. It said that he is an associate of alleged Indian Mujahideen operative Yasin Bhatkal, who he was introduced to by one Ghayoor Jamali, arrested by the Delhi police in November last year. Jamali is also an alleged IM operative.

In its May 25 charge sheet, the ATS had named Naquee Ahmed, Nadeem Shaikh, Kanwar Pathrija and Haroon Naik as the accused.

The ATS has booked all the accused under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), the Indian Penal Code, the Explosives Act, the Explosive Substances Act, the Prevention of Damage to Public Properties Act and the Unlawful Prevention of Activities Act.
