Babajee's friend gets court relief

Gautam Vora, a stockbroker who is said to have been a friend of model Viveka Babajee, cannot be arrested without being given a 72-hour notice, the sessions court told the police on Tuesday.

Gautam Vora, a stockbroker who is said to have been a friend of model Viveka Babajee, cannot be arrested without being given a 72-hour notice, the sessions court told the police on Tuesday.

Babajee killed herself at her Khar home on Friday. Following references to Vora in her diary and other evidence, the police are considering if he can be charged with abetment to suicide. Vora had approached court and filed for anticipatory bail.
