Based on this application, a city magistrate court has ordered the Tardeo police to make necessary entries to the complaint already registered by RTI activist Santosh Daundkar. Agnelo Fernandes, a resident of Mahim, filed an application alleging his religious sentiments were hurt. He also accuses the AIB team and the organisers of cheating the police by submitting the wrong script to them in order to get permission to hold the show.
The application has been filed against Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ashish Mathew, Aditi Mittal, Rajeev Masand, Tanmay Bhatt, Ashish Shakya, Gursimra Khamba, Rohan Joshi, Raghu Ram and Vijay Nair.
The judge in his order directed the Tardeo police to record the statement of the complainant as a witness in the case and make necessary entries.
“They will have to add the sections in the FIR now as the court has given the necessary orders,” said Joseph Sodder, office bearer, Association of Concerned Catholics.
“We have not added any sections yet. We will take the statements according to the court order and if we find concrete proof, then the necessary changes and the additional sections will be added during the filing of the charge sheet,” said S Jaykumar, DCP, zone 3.
