Freshers allege ragging in Mumbai medical college

Ten first-year students of KE Medical College in Mumbai have alleged that they were ragged by their seniors at a New Year party, after which the college authorities ordered a probe into the charge.

Sources said the freshers alleged Saturday night that they were ragged at the party organised by the seniors of the physiotherapy department.

College Dean Andy Bhonsle said the allegation would be probed by an anti-ragging committee and action would be taken against anyone found guilty.
