Sources privy to the investigations of the terror suspect’s trail in India said Headley, 48, was present in the room from where 10 Lahkar-e-Tayyeba terrorists were being guided to various locations during the 26/11 attacks.

India has asked for a voice sample of Headley from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to match with a voice that was unidentified so far by security agencies. This voice was giving information on exact surroundings of the targets.

Sources claimed there were frequent promptings by Headley to LeT mastermind Zakir-ur-Rehman Lakhvi from a room in Pakistan. Lakhvi, against whom Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice, was in turn communicating with the terrorists attacking Mumbai.
