The victim's teenaged son told the police that the sketches of the accused looked similar to his college friends.

According to the RCF police, Lalita Bansilal was alone at her house in Ekta housing society, Mhada colony.

The police said the four forced themselves into the house and threatened her with a gun and a knife. They then gagged her and fled with the gold ornaments.

Bansilal then raised an alarm and was freed by her neighbours. The police said during questioning a local shopkeeper said that one of the accused had specifically asked him for Bansilals’s son’s residence.

“We have registered a case of robbery and have prepared their sketches on basis of the CCTV footage from the building,” said an official from the RCF police.
