Another accused in the 26/11 terror attacks has expressed “No Confidence” in the special judge and sought transfer of the trial to another judge.

Sabauddin Ahmed, the alleged conduit of LeT who transported the map prepared by Fahim to Pakistan, has, in a hand-written petition to the Bombay High Court, sought the trial in the case be taken away from the special judge M.L. Tahiliyani. On November 6, Fahim Ahmed Ansari, one of the alleged local facilitator of 26/11 attacks, had approached the high court seeking re-trial in the case alleging that he does not expect justice from the present special judge.
Fahim and Ahmed were arrested on February 10, 2008 for their alleged roles in the Rampur CRPF camp attack in Uttar Pradesh. They were later brought to Mumbai after their roles were revealed in the 26/11 attacks. The division bench of Justice J.N. Patel and Justice Amjad Sayed asked additional public prosecutor Poornima Kantharia to reply in two weeks.
