“Subodh Kumar should know who Mumbai belongs to. The whole world knows that it belongs to the Marathi Manoos,” Uddhav said on Friday.

This is the second time in a month that the Sena is publicly supporting the MNS on an issue. Earlier this month, Uddhav had issued a statement condemning the police for beating up MNS legislator Harshvardhan Patil.

Raj had called upon Kumar on Thursday, but left in a little over a minute. According to civic officials, Kumar told Thackeray that "Mumbai sarvanchi aahe" and that he was free to give suggestions for the city’s development.

“The person [Raj] who was told off in such a fashion should raise his voice against the statement,” Uddhav said.
