An interesting find here. This singer-songwriter clearly wears his heart on his sleeve, as he unabashedly belts out song after song on his second album after 2007’s Make Way. Charlie Winston is an astonishing artist who will one day be a big star (he’s already playing to 40,000 people) worldwide. He currently lives in Paris, and is generally on the European tour circuit, but it is only a matter of time before the world will wake up to his sounds and soliloquies.

The soul of a busker, the vibe of a song and dance man, and the attitude of a rebel, Charlie Winston is one of the freshest sounds you will encounter this year. Songs like ‘Kick the bucket’, ‘I’m a man’, ‘In your hands’ and ‘Like a Hobo’ are a testament to the power of song. Keep it up Mr Winston, we’re watching and listening.
