Britney to record new album

Britney Spears is all set to let the tapes roll again post the Circus tour. After the roaring success of her latest album, the Toxic superstar is ready to do it one more time. Here are the details.

Pop star Britney Spears is set to record a new album as soon as her Circus world tour ends.

The Toxic superstar bounced back from a tough 2008 by releasing her fifth number one album, Circus, last November and headed out on a world trek in March this year.

But despite after almost 12 months of touring and concerts, Spears isn't taking time off after her final show in Adelaide, Australia November 29 and she plans to hit the recording studio after Christmas, reports contactmusic.com.

The new album is a slated for a June 2010 release.
