Singer Indeep Bakshi says he is excited that through the reality show, he would get to meet new people.

Singer Indeep Bakshi, who has given hits such as Saturday Saturday, Bad Wali Feeling and Don’t Look At Me, is set to turn host with a new reality show, A Date To Remember. Unlike many from the music industry who find it hard to juggle with other things, Indeep feels his stint on TV won’t meddle with his music career.

“Hosting a show won’t affect my singing career. I write my songs after observing what all is happening around me, meet new people and get inputs from them. The lyrics I write are based on what the youth does. Moreover, this show will be a boost for me, as I will get to interact with more people,” says Indeep.

Excited to explore a new medium, the singer says that he never wanted to confine himself to one aspect of the entertainment industry. “When I entered this industry, I never came as a musician. I came here as an entertainer and if you listen to my songs, they all are the stress busters. I think this [reality] show will be very helpful for me to showcase who actually Indeep Bakshi is,” says the 26-year-old.

Ask him if he is nervous or excited about doing something as different as hosting, Indeep quips, “I’m not worried whether it’s going to be easy or difficult but I feel this show actually suits me for the way I am. Be it my nature or my living style, it will be fun hosting this show, both on screen and off it too.”
