“I still remember our first performance in the city. We were competing at the IIT, Delhi, fest in 2001. It was an interesting show as neither our drummer nor our keyboardist could make it to the event. But, we still managed to pull it up. I also fell in love with Banta (a soft drink) during that trip,” recalls Sahil Makhija, the frontman and spokesperson of the band. The band’s favourites include The Demon King, Apocalyptic Dawn and Journey To Solaris.

Though the band hasn’t played in the city much, they still have a considerable number of listeners in the city. “Delhi is one of my favourites cities. The best part of playing here is that people not only attend our shows but also buy our music CDs,” he says. The band that comprises Makhija on vocals and guitar, Nishith Hedge on lead guitar, Ashwin Shriyan on bass and Virendra Kaith on drums is preparing to release their fifth studio album.
