American singer-songwriter Nicole Scherzinger, who is a practicising Roman Catholic, has said that she wants to get married first and then have children, in keeping with her faith.

“My faith comes first, I mean I need to find a husband and then I’ll have some kids, so it’s everything in its own divine time. Yes I have been focused on my career and no I haven’t been like, ‘This year I’m going to find a husband and have kids.’

“That will happen when it’s supposed to happen and I can’t wait for it to happen, the day when I’m married, have kids and running a family while still doing my career,” she said.

The singer also dated Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton but the two called off their eight-year long relationship in February 2015.
