Three-state tour for Kai Po Che

Music composer Amit Trivedi to perform songs from his next at concerts; will be promoting a movie at a musical event for the first time .

Having rendered some popular compositions, music composer Amit Trivedi is set to go on a three-state tour for the promotion of his next film, Kai Po Che, which is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by UTV Motion Pictures.

A source says, “This will be the first time that Amit will go on a concert tour to promote a movie. The tour will happen in Gujarat, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh. The concert in Gujarat will be very important as the film is based in that state and there are several Gujarati folk song compositions in the film.”

The source adds, “UTV came up with the idea of conducting concerts for promotions because they believe that like Amit’s previous compositions, the music of Kai Po Che will also top the charts.” The tour is scheduled for the first week of February 2013, as the movie is slated to release in the same month.
