NAGPUR: A 12-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly raped in the TB Ward of the government-run medical college and hospital campus in Nagpur on Wednesday night. According to the city police, the girl narrated the ordeal to her family, following which, a complaint was filed with the local Imamwada police station. The police registered a case against the offender and begun a hunt to find him. An enraged mob stormed the police station and demanded the immediate arrest of the offender. The citizens said such incidents are routine at the deserted quarters of the TB Ward, but neither the police nor officials of the college have taken measures to curb crime. No arrests have been made yet, said the police.
