23-year-old woman pushed off moving train
BAREILLY: Miscreants pushed a 23-year-old woman passenger out of a moving train near Bhojipura railway station on Friday, allegedly in an attempt to rob her bag. The train guard saw the incident and signalled to stop the train. The woman was rescued from the tracks and was taken to a private hospital. Eastern Railways has decided to revise and improve security in trains. “We have decided to increase the frequency of armed escorts on passenger trains,” said Rajinder Singh, PRO Izzatnagar division. “The escorts will also make surprise trips in areas prone to such incidents,” he added.
